Stingray City

STINGRAY CITY is one of the best things to do in the Cayman Islands. STINGRAY SAILING is the best way to get there.

The Far-Tortuga

Captain Chip and The Far-Tortuga

Our trips are done on the sailing catamaran the Far Tortuga under the watchful eye of Captain Chip. Born and raised in the Cayman Islands, Captain Chip has been coming to the Sand bar for over fourty years and has been working with stingrays for the last twenty five years.

The Far Tortuga is forty-three feet long and twenty feet wide. What does this mean to the average person? Space, and lots of it. With trips with a maximum of twenty five people there is always lots of room aboard the Far Tortuga. Instead of sitting on a bench rubbing shoulders with the person next to you, we give you space to lay out in the sun to work on your tan.

The Alii-Kai

Sometimes it is about the journey, sometimes it is about the destination. The AlliKai is one of the fastest large boats offering tours in the North Sound. This gives us the advantage of being able to get to the Sandbar ahead of many of the other boats on cruise ship days and allows us to spend more time at each location and less time getting to them.

The AliiKai is forty-two feet long, has benches for sitting, shade, and a railed off bow where you can sit with your legs hanging over the edge or just lay out. There is no better way to enjoy the stingrays than to have them all to yourselves.

Peace Maker

Captain Roger and The Peace Maker

Peace Maker is a big boat with even bigger engines. With a capacity of 65 passengers and a cruising speed of 18 knots, there are few boats in Cayman that can match This vessel. A 27 foot canopy provides plenty of shade for those who want it and an open bow provides plenty of sun for those who don't.

Captain Roger started in the boat tour industry at the age of eight under the guidance of his grandfather Captain Marvin, often considered the pioneer of Stingray City. fourty years later it is safe to say that he knows what he is doing.

More to chose from

Boats come in many shapes and sizes. We have many contacts in the industry and if you do not see what you are looking for, let us know and if it is available, we will find it for you.

Meet The Captains

Captain Chip

Over the last 25 years Captain Chip has developed his own unique style of interacting with stingrays. We heve grown accustomed to attracting more stingrays than any other boat out here. Come see for yourself

Captain Chris

After spending many years in the service industry and three years as owner of a repilica pirate ship, Captain Chris has now made his way into the stingray industry and has sworn that he is never going back. Taking to the stingrays like a fish to water, the love that Captain Chris has for these animals shows in the way that he interacts with them and the way that they respond back.

Captain Roger

Captain Roger and his crew are the right choice for large groups wanting to spend a day on the water. Professional and knowledgeable Captain Roger will see to it that you have a great time.
